RadioTime Wins 2005 Under The Radar Consumer Technologies competition

May 31, 2005

RadioTime won the 2005 Under The Radar Consumer Technologies competition sponsored by IBD Networks. Hundreds of companies are nominated, the investor committee then selects 4 finalist for each track. The contest is like an “American Idol for Entrepreneur” competition judged by audience and investor voting. RadioTime was selected among finalists focused on new audio services ( Mercora, MoodLogic, and MSpot).

"Everyone is looking at the music puck", said Larry Marcus, event judge and Partner with Walden Ventures. “RadioTime is doing something different with a guide and spoken programming, they are looking where the puck is going.”

Under the Radar showcased technologyís early innovators in several fast-growing sectors in the consumer space including search, podcasting, blogging, RSS, music search and distribution, digital content storage, and social networking software.
